Unbelieveable Build QualityJul 07, 2007 I have owned my SCD 200 for about two years and couldn't be happier. Recently auditioned 3 newer (and more expensive) CD/SACD players (audiophile insecurity) and the Shanling still topped them all. It is very smooth yet revealing. In my system the SACD is as good as I have heard. One interesting plus for the Shanling is that it has both tube and solid state outputs. This allows interesting A/B comparisons with the same interconnects or as a way to A/B two different cables, reversing them to complete a comparison with tubes and semis.
